Made of forged steel in an attractive package with leather cover. Can also be clipped onto the bracelet. And the good thing about it is that this small pair of scissors will not be half-inched out of your handwork basket to be misused for other things (flower cutting, handicrafts) because it is really only suitable for cutting threads.
I really think these scissors get sharper with use. It is definitely an acquired taste: a relationship that needs to be cultivated. I haven't used any of my other scissors since I got this.
